Aur is a young Nordic filmmaking collective and production company [est. 2021], driven by a focus on creating visually striking and artistically uncompromising projects. We operate as a creative hub for directors, writers, and filmmakers who seek deeper storytelling—and who dare to challenge form, format, and feeling.
As an “underdog production company” in Norway, we seek stories that stand out visually—right from the page. Why? Because we believe there is a need for more films, whether short or long, that demonstrate stories can be told in many different ways.
We are fueled by collaboration and idea development across disciplines to bring the visions of our collaborators to life—either by producing them ourselves or by finding the right production partners.
